In this year Faculty research day the number of abstracts and attendance has increased. It was well attended by many students of the Faculty. The topics of research covered a range of areas in agriculture, food development, biotechnology, microbiology to name a few. It has been a success in terms of involvement of external institutions undertaking Food and Agricultural Research, interactive discussions and stimulating thinking on the need to collaborate to create knowledge through innovative research, disseminate and transfer research findings that will drive strategies and actions towards sustainable economic, social and human development.
