The second report on the State of the World’s Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture was published in 2015. It provides a comprehensive global assessment of livestock biodiversity, divided into five parts: 1. The state of livestock diversity, 2. Livestock sector trends, 3. The state of capacities, 4. The state of the art and the 5. Needs and challenges.
It serves as an update of the first report on The State of the World’s Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, published in 2007.
